"Keep your friend close and your enemies even closer." First glance, that ones seems kind of dark. But, isn't there another way to look at this one? A Biblical way even..hmmm time to go look up 'enemy' and see what all the Word has to say.

I cried when I watched "Rescue from Gilligan's Island". Ok, I didn't cry, but it sure brought me to an emotional cresendo (sp?). Rocky II did it for me, as did Remember the Titans. I'm sure there are other ones, but none come to mind at the moment........except Old Yellar of course. I put that right up there with Passion of the Christ. If "Passion" doesn't get you right with God, "Yellar" sure will!

Hello Lakeside Family and God Bless. Steve Pratt here. Isn't it amazing that it's been 15 years since our inception? God is truly Good and Worthy of our praise! I just wanted to second Pastor's ecouragement to go see Pastor Heath tomorrow. I already have a committment at a Church in Kalamazoo, or I would be there too. Some of you newer members may be asking yourself "Who is Steve Pratt?" Well, I'll let some of the more veteran members fill you in on my history with Lakeside Family Church; In the meanwhile, I just wanted to let you guys know that our Love and prayers go with you guys and, again, I want to encourage you to keep the fire burning, keep stoking your faith ( even when the Pastor is away )and support what the church is doing always.

I promise I'll come visit soon,
