Movies that men are allowed to cry at

Last Sunday, I mentioned movies that it was alright for men to cry at.  I need your help guys.  Respond to this blog with your suggestions.  Maybe we'll put your ideas up for a "man" vote.

Here's my list so far...

#1.  The Passion of the Christ, by Mel Gibson.  Give me a break.  I watched this with four other guys and we were all having trouble keeping it together.  It takes no courage to admit coming unglued during this one.

#2.  Signs, by M. Night Shamawhatever.  I think it was the God/backslidden preacher stuff.  I won't ruin it if you haven't seen it, but it's one of my favorite movies.

Ok, what else you got men?

Great question...I would say the number one for me is Napoleon Dynamite...."GOSH!!!" Just Kidding!!:O) After looking at my videos, THE PATRIOT would have to be up there. Great man movie with fighting and action, but shows the soft side and pain a man can go through in losing two sons...That Mel Gibson Guy has something here I think. And the sports nut in me says a little for HOOSIERS and RUDY. Two true stories about never giving-up...These two pump me up and put a tear in my eyes at the same time!!!!

"Field of Dreams" has got to be one of the movies men are not just allowed but required to cry at. Who wouldn't get misty at the thought of reuniting with a "lost" father?
